  Synthetic Dreads are temporary and last up to 3 months in your hair, it is recommended not to exceed 3 months as your natural hair begins to dread at the root. Synthetic Dread Extensions are pre-made lightweight dreads made from 100% Kanekalon synthetic hair and measure approx 20". They don't cause damage to your hair like backcombing for natural dreads will and don't take much effort to maintain. Synthetic dreads are able to be re-used again and again if they are well looked after, as you don't need to cut or shave them off, simply snip a band, unravel your hair and remove the dread in one piece, simple. Hair needs to be around 4 inches long for the dreads to be held in well enough. A full head of dreads requires 60 (double ended) dreads, which is 6 packets, so the colour choices are endless.
